Thríhnukagígur
Thríhnukagígur is a hollow volcano, unique on the planet, where the molten magama has retracted leaving an immense cavern 200m deep.
The proposal utilises the cable car technology of the adjacent ski resort to transport visitors, silenty, over two kilometers of virgin lavafield and then decend vertically into the extraordinary, dark, subteranean world.
